Aké Satia is the Chief Vision Officer at Aké Satia, a Human Capital firm in the DC area focused on strengthening organizations by bolstering the intersection of people strategy and business strategy.
Her focus is on improving the corporate landscape by helping organizations to not only meet their goals today but also create a better future. Aké’s global life experiences—her struggles and triumphs across three continents—inform a philosophy that inspires audiences and readers to create the lives they want.
Aké Satia’s childhood was spent on the move. She attended seven schools and lived on three continents before the age of 17. This collection of unique experiences granted her an acute devotion to making the world a better place. Guided by what she saw and her faith, she developed a deep sense of compassion for those who are less fortunate or “unseen” in society. While she learned countless lessons from her experiences, the core of her identity was forged around her growing sense of resilience and fearlessness. These attributes pushed her to seek out challenging opportunities every chance she got.
